I got into Bitcoin early, spent years building crypto products, and now mostly invest and build whatever I find interesting. Lately that's crypto and AI.
About
I got into Bitcoin in 2017. It was the first thing that combined what I liked about software with finance, and it got me questioning stuff I'd never really thought about, like how fiat money works and how much of the system runs on debt.
I stayed in through a couple of 70%+ drawdowns and kept building the whole time: a privacy chain, a wallet that got acquired, and a DEX that did $2B in volume its first year. I also angel invested in 20+ companies along the way. It worked out well.
These days I mostly invest in public markets and build things because I'm curious about them. A few turned into real businesses. Right now it's mostly crypto and AI, which I think are pretty tied together. Probably something else eventually.
Outside of that I'm a dad, I'm on the road a lot, and there's usually some physical project I'm in over my head on.
